Most vintages this wine is just not possible to make. Either we do not have enough fruit to pull aside what stands out, or the wine just does not come together as hoped. In 2020, two barrels from the barrel-fermented Sauvignon Blanc lot stood out as exceptional. Lemon and lime carry the nose of this wine, leading to well-integrated phenolics on the midpalate. Rose petal and cherry blossom shine through. The finish is carried by a rich structure derived by extended lees time and neutral french oak
